How to Apply
We welcome applications from motivated graduate (MS/PhD) and undergraduate students interested in security and privacy research.
Application Guidelines
- Send your CV to sayak.saharoy@lsu.edu. Use a clear, specific subject line - for example, PhD Application – [Your Name] – [Research Interest] or MS/Undergrad – [Your Name] – [Research Interest].
- Read our papers first. Read at least one or two papers from our publications. In your email, tell us which paper(s) you read, what you found interesting, and how it connects to your interests.
- Be specific about fit. Mention which of our research areas aligns with your goals. Describe what you hope to work on, your relevant background (coursework, projects, prior research), and when you would be available to join the lab.
- One email is enough. There is no need to send multiple emails or follow-up messages. If your profile is a good fit, you can expect a response within 3–5 business days.
Not yet an LSU student?
If you are not currently enrolled at Louisiana State University, you must also apply and be admitted to the university separately. Lab admission is contingent on university acceptance.
